Simplicity is a must for me during the holiday season, well really any season. And what can be easier than a monochromatic outfit? With the rush to get my work done before vacation, I have less time to focus on picking out what to wear. This olive monochrome outfit is amazingly easy yet super stylish. Wearing one color from head to toe is a simple way to look put together with little thought. There are a few tips you must follow if you want to consistently create the perfect monochromatic look:
- Start with fitted clothing. For killer style you need clothes that flatter your body. You won’t look put together if you rock clothes that don’t work for your body type.
- Don’t be afraid if you’re clothes aren’t the same shade. If you don’t have a top or pants in the same hue never fear, wearing items of varying shades gives your outfit more depth.
- Have a statement piece. To keep your outfit from looking drab rock an item that has a real wow factor to step up the look.
