Like most trends I was very skeptical of the tie front shirt dress.  Or, more accurately, I just a little bit of a hater since I couldn’t find one that worked with my frame.  That was until this MISSGUIDED dress came along. From the material to the way it drapes, I just can’t get enough of it. It’s one of those dresses that require little work but makes you feel instantly stylish like Carrie Bradshaw.  Every woman should have something that makes her feel this way.  A piece that you can throw on and know you look amazing in. But like many great things in life, it’s something you have to work for.

Finding garments like this isn’t a once in a lifetime experience, at least it shouldn’t be.  Every time you shop and make the leap to purchase something, it should be something that makes your heart soar.  And bonus points if the car full of  guys who drove by while you’re taking your blog pictures stop to tell you how gorgeous you look.  But we shouldn’t choose our clothes for them.  We choose our clothes for us.  To remind ourselves we are incredible and deserve all the good that comes our way.  Sometimes that gratification is recognition from a certain someone, other times it’s simply the feeling you get from putting on the perfect dress.
