Teddy Bear

Nov 11, 2019 | Outfits

Every year people get so excited for a reprieve from a hot summer but I feel like fall is never long enough in Michigan. Sometimes the mild temperatures will stretch into mid November, this year however we weren’t so lucky. While the photos for today’s post make it look like it’s still fall, the temperatures are rapidly approaching winter status. We’ve already had snow a hand full of times in the past week which means I have to start layering and reaching for my heavier pieces. Recently I’ve been relying on my teddy bear coat from last year to layer over all of my fall looks. While I do have a similar one in beige, this cream teddy bear coat is perfect for making an outfit pop. I layered in over this really cozy maxi sweater dress that I have practically been living in most of fall. Besides the fact that it’s made of a sturdier fabric which helps to keep me warm, it’s the perfect shade of orange to compliment my skin tone, and as I already mentioned it’s amazingly comfortable! By now you know that when the temps drop I love to make my outfits more interesting by playing with textures and patterns. So it should be no surprise that I reached for this teddy bum bag and leopard print accessories. I think the playfulness of the look with the leopard print sneakers is what makes this a perfect teddy bear coat outfit. You might also notice that I decided to switch up my usual beauty routine. A while back I stopped wearing makeup for the blog but recently have been really digging falsies and playing with extensions for my hair. When I put it all together, even though this is a more casual look for me I still felt ultra feminine and fun! If you’re loving the look be sure to keep scrolling to shop the pieces.
