This fall you can expect to see plaid everywhere.  While everyone is rocking it in the blazer variety, which is an undeniably chic and easy option, I instantly gravitated towards this plaid jumpsuit.  Just like a dress, jumpsuits are an easy throw on and go outfit for just about any occasion.

One thing I’m all about, besides pieces that fit perfectly, is pieces with unique details.  That’s why I love the corset detailing of this jumpsuit.  It elevates an already great piece while highlighting my waist.  The corset also makes transitioning from this look from 9-5 to a chic night out a breeze.  There are a few tricks you need to know to make styling a plaid jumpsuit, or any jumpsuit for that matter, easy:

2. Use layers to your advantage.  If you want to hide wide hips wear a long line jacket.  For those wanting to highlight their waist choose outerwear in a crop style.
3. Be matchy matchy.  Plaid is already a busy pattern, don’t make your look too busy by adding too many colors.  Play it safe with neutrals or go bold but with one color.

     At the end of the day it’s about choosing pieces that resonate with you and make you look as amazing as they make you feel.
