Pistachio
If you’re looking to step up an outfit nothing compares to a blazer. It adds a level of sophistication that just can’t be beat. There are tons of different fits, colors and prints at various price points meaning you can easily find a style that’s flattering for your shape. I probably add at least one or two to my wardrobe each year! When I saw this pistachio blazer I knew it’d be perfect for summer. I instantly envisioned how I’d wear it and decided to share some of my green blazer outfit ideas with you.
Who doesn’t love a good tank top and jeans for summer? It’s a minimal yet flattering outfit all on its own. If you’re looking to take this classic look up a notch there’s nothing easier than throwing on a blazer. You could reach for a white tank top, which would be a chic choice, but a green one really adds something different. To keep the look summer friendly go for a pair of lighter wash jeans. Personally I’ve been living in this pair of mom jeans from H&M! They’re super flattering for my pear shape without being too tight. If it’s too hot for pants swap them out for some denim shorts. To finish off the look you could do bold accessories or subtle pops of print. I went with snake print accessories to add some texture. This adds interest while keeping the look cohesive because it allows the green blazer to remain the statement piece.
Summer is the perfect time for white. While there is some worry about keeping it clean, it’s worth the risk because it screams “I’m a boss chick”. It’s also a great way to keep cool during these hot summer days. Fun fact: white reflects light instead of absorbing it like other colors which is why you don’t get as hot when you wear it. A sneaky way to keep your whites clean is by wearing a layering piece. In this case my green blazer. Green and white is quickly becoming my favorite color combo for summer. It’s fresh and bright without feeling too overwhelming. A crop top and wide leg pants make for the perfect base when playing with colors. I find myself reaching for sports bras as tops during summer because they wick away sweat and allow me to go braless without looking completely flat chested. The wide leg pants are great for a hot day because they help protect your legs from the sun while being ultra breathable.
One of the boldest ways to rock a blazer is by wearing it as a dress. I personally love a good oversized blazer. In fact I like to buy my blazers a size or two larger just so that they’re long enough to be worn this way. If your blazer isn’t long enough and you’re all about making a statement then reach for a pair of biker shorts to wear underneath. This is a fun way to add a pop of color or print. A skirt would also have the same effect if shorts aren’t your thing. To show off your figure you can buy a blazer that has a cinched waist fit or reach for a waist belt. If you’re confident enough I suggest going without a bra. It gives off a baddie vibe and makes the outfit just look cleaner overall. You can either grab some double sided tape or use an adhesive bra so you don’t give an accidental peep show. For those who like a little more support a crop top underneath is also a chic option. If you’re wanting a polished look white accessories always make an outfit feel luxurious. Another option for more a causal laid back fit is a cool pair of sneakers.
