For those of you who don’t know, I am a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. This past weekend was Epsilon Kappa’s (my undergraduate chapter) 35th anniversary which meant a road trip back to Purdue University for the festivities. Per usual my sorors and frat brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated definitely made it one for the books. Not only did my chapter bring in 8 new members, but our brothers brought in 4 new members of their own and I couldn’t be happier to welcome all of them to the bond that is blue and white! I won’t lie, my chapter is definitely known for upholding our ideals of scholarship, service and with a bit of an emphasis on finer womanhood so I knew I had to bust out my finest threads. So here are a few snap shots of some of my looks, as well as my sorors and frat brothers, from my hectic but memorable weekend.
They asked the prophytes, older members, to wear all white so I knew it’d be the perfect time to debut this white jumpsuit I scored from H&M for $10! This is what the rest of my ship and I, Z.S. Hurricane, wore. Sadly my link was unable to attend but I couldn’t have been happier to have 7 out of 8 us together for the first time in almost a year!

After all was said and done you know we had to turn up for the one time since we had so many new members and alumni in town to celebrate. I put together a more tomboy-ish verison of the two piece dress trend that’s been all over the place. This look was perfect not only for bar hopping, black is your BEST FRIEND at college bars, but also for getting my groove on. See my other all black looks here, here and here.
