Sail In Style
Not sure what to wear on a cruise and feeling overwhelmed trying to figure out how to pack for your vacation? Been there! That’s how felt when I was trying decide on outfits for my Carnival Cruise back in 2019. Having years of travel experience you’d think it would have been second nature at that point. Thankfully with a few more world travels under my belt I can finally share with you my no-fail vacation outfits that work for almost any warm weather destination! I’m showing you every outfit I wore on my recent 6-night Royal Caribbean Cruise. This will give you some inpso for what to pack, what’s acceptable to wear and some inspiration for your next vacation!
Day At Sea = Coverup + Swimsuit +Sandals
For a day at sea, think easy breezy. I channeled my inner rich auntie and paired my Andrea Iyamah Sade cover up with my Echo one piece swimsuit from Riot swim for simple, yet sophisticated outfit. The only thing I will say is that if you’re on the shorter side, or plan to do a lot of walking, pick a cover up that stops around your ankles so you don’t have to wear heels.

Water Excursion = Swimsuit + Wide Leg Pants +Water Sandals
If you chose an excursion that involve water then this outfit is for you. My no-fail vacation outfit combo is a bikini + high waist bottoms. In this case I paired an asymmetric bikini with my Essential Antwerp wide leg pants for a breezy fit that was easy to get into and out of for snorkeling in Cozumel!

Formal Dinner= Satin Wrap Dress +Heels
One of the most asked questi0ns I get about what to wear on a cruise is an outfit for the formal dinner. If you watched my Royal Caribbean Vlog I shared a glimpse at what a lot of the other passengers wore. For me this Reni Dress from Andrea Iyamah is always a safe bet for a formal affair. See how I styled it for my birthday in Hawaii.

Beach Day = Swimsuit + Maxi Skirt +Sandals
Here’s another version of my go-to outfit combo if an excursion involves some water. In this case we went to a Mayan Healing Ritual during our port stop at Costa Maya. The spa day included salt baths, steam rooms, clay masks, coconut baths and a massage. If you’re a long time follower then you probably recognize this fit from my first cruise. I’m definitely not ashamed to be seen re-wearing what I own! I slayed then and it still served 4 years later!

Pool Day = Swimsuit + Midi Skirt + Sandals
For another day at sea I went with my trusty outfit combo yet again! This time featuring my cute Andrea Iyamah bikini that I wore in Costa Rica with my Hanifa skirt. One thing to keep in mind as you pack is that if you plan to eat at the buffet then you will be required to wear a cover up that covers both your top and bottom.

Casual Dinner = Mesh Dress +Sandals
Then to eat at enjoy a sushi and sake lunch at Izumi for my friend’s bday lunch I went with a mesh bodycon dress with ruching. I love this style of dress for when I eat because it’s flattering and the ruching helps to hide any food baby I’m guaranteed to leave with because your girl LOVES to eat!
