I had been searching high and low for the perfect tee shirt dress after re-watching an episode of Sex and the City where Carrie leaves Mr. Big’s adorned in his button up paired with a classic belt and pumps. A shirt dress is a timeless wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down and rocked almost year-round. My biggest struggle with these type of dresses is that they’re typically shift silhouettes and I am pear shape so shift dresses aren’t the most flattering for me. To avoid this struggle I get them tailored to be more form fitted on top. I decided to wear it with a denim button up and faux Birks for a comfy yet trendy outfit to run around town in.
