For fashionistas everywhere today is pretty much an international holiday, I mean it is the beginning of New York Fashion Week (NYFW) after all which is WAAAAY bigger than Beyonce’s birthday, no offense to the Bey-hive. Every year thousands flock to the Big Apple to get a glimpse of celebs, fashion shows and, my favorite part, the street style. Though I have not yet personally been to NYFW, I celebrate every year by stalking my fave bloggers Instagram feeds, perusing online stores to binge shop and by playing dress up.
This year I thought why keep all the fun and excitement to myself? So I decided to partner up with the my usual suspects: Leah {Beauty and the Muse}, Eden {Chic in the Tropics} and Melissa to celebrate NYFW. I couldn’t think of a better way than to show you guys that even though we may not be in New York, we can still share how Detroit does NYFW street style.
We are kicking off NYFW with a taste of what we would have worn had we had the luxury to be running up and down the New York streets to attend our favorite fashion shows. All through out the next week we will not only be giving you a closer look at each of our outfits, but sharing a little about ourselves and what we are most looking forward from NYFW, so stay tuned!
Comment below and tell me: Do you follow NYFW, if so what are you looking forward to most?

What a fun post! NYFW seems so far fetched from my daily life that I don’t really care about it. It’s all over my IG feed and it’s hard for me to get excited for something that I will forget about in a week or too since it’s not coming out till spring.
Thank you for joining TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you next week. Have a great weekend!

I love that your choosing to celebrate from afar still! So fun. Thanks for sharing this at the #HomeMattersParty – hope to see you again next week.
Oh, you girls are too awesome xx Love that you embraced and enjoyed the week even though you could not actually be there.
Love the looks ladies! Even though we aren’t there this year we can still rock with the best of them. I did a similar post over on my blog too!

You all look amazing!
You ladies look fierce. Love how you celebrated NYFW from Detroit. Really inspired me to do something similar in ATL for February.
Love the idea of celebrating NYFW, especially with your blogger friends! How nice. Makes me want to find some local blogger friends LOL. … PS Thanks for linking up
