While I love the allure of traditional work wear, I mean seriously a classic button up with a pencil skirt will still have amazing sex appeal in my book. I personally gravitate towards a more modern take on dressing for the office.  Instead of mixing colors with boring blacks, greys or browns, I like to mix unexpected colors like blush and burgundy while adding modern updates to classic pieces.  It can be hard to find the balance between personal style and work appropriate wear, especially with the rise of lax dress codes.  I know rules are meant to be broken, but when there hardly are any it’s really easy to accidentally overstep the work wardrobe boundaries.

Check out my tips on how to keep your personal flair while dressing for the office if you struggle with finding outfits that portray your style while still being work appropriate.  My biggest piece of advice that I tell my clients is to find pieces that are work appropriate that you would still want to wear outside of your 9-5.  By doing this you will maximize your wardrobe and have more options for both the week days and weekends.  Remember to choose clothes that make you excited to get up, get dressed, and take on the world!  See how else you can style a faux leather skirt.

Comment below and tell me: Would you rock blush and burgundy together?
