Welcome back Gorgeous, hope you had a lovely weekend filled with excitement and relaxation to prepare you for the week! Like a lot of you my weekend was filled with running errands, meeting up with friends to do house decor shopping and a bit of relaxation. Now when you know you’re going to be running around you probably try to choose an outfit that’s comfortable, right? An easy tee and some yoga pants maybe? Well then let me introduce you to your stylish new friend, wide leg pants.
The great thing about wide leg pants is not only are they super chic, but ultra comfortable as well, I’m talking better than joggers, like waaaaaaay better! They can be dressed up for work or down for running around town checking off your to-do list with ease. Some ways that I like to style wide leg pants are:
- Swapping them for Work Trousers. A great way to update your suit for work is to swap our your traditional pieces like blazers or trousers for something more updated like wide leg pants like I did with my white vest.
- Jazzing up a T-Shirt. If you want a stylish yet laid back look wear a printed pair with a plain tee and chic flats.
- Paired with a Crop Top. For a night out look that goes above and beyond the bodycon dress but is equally as sexy, pair a crop top that has some detailing with a pair of wide leg pants. If you have a monochrome outfit add a pop of color with your shoes and even mix in prints using your accessories.
Wide legs are an easy way to take your outfit to the next level and are definitely a piece that can be worn season after season which is perfect for maximizing from within. I know some people are hesitant that they are just a trend or won’t work for their body, but they are very flattering on many body shapes so don’t knock ’em before you try ’em! If you need help identifying what works for your body make sure you schedule a complementary consultation to get started on a more stylish you!

Pree, these pants are crazy comfy! I’m glad you found my blog and stopped by.
these pants make your legs look a mile long!
Thank you Kileen, the key is the vertical stripes and high waist make my legs look way longer than they really are!
I love your advice, I always try to follow your tips in our following aussie seasons. I am not sure whether wide leg pants will suit my short legs.
Thanks Alicia, I’m glad you find my advice helpful! For shorter legs you can choose a higher waist if you’re comfortable with that, also look for vertical stripes or do a monochromatic look to appear longer! 🙂
Very cute outfit! 🙂
