Hey beauties, Happy Monday! The bandana print trend is still everywhere and I’m sure you’ve thought to yourself at one point how can I add that to my wardrobe without looking ridiculous? When wearing bandana print in a scarf form you can either risk looking like a cowboy or straight out of a 90’s hip hop video and if it’s on a pair of leggings or over-sized tee… let’s just say I advise you don’t go there. Adding prints in general can be daunting so I wanted to share some easy tips on how to style prints in a chic way:
- Choose Fitted Pieces in the desired Print. By picking a classic piece that fits your body properly you reduce the risk of looking less put together and trying to be too trendy.
- Make it Monochromatic. Try choosing a print that is white plus a color and go for a monochromatic look. The print will give the outfit some extra umph! When doing this make sure you place the brighter colors or pattern on areas you are trying to highlight.
- Layer It. If you’re trying to get away with a trendier print top in the office, layer it under a cardigan or blazer. For pants or a skirt try a tunic or long-line blazer to update your look.
Of course the best way to look stylish in any print is to be confident! When you’re comfortable, you are confident and that goes a long way when it comes to style. This outfit is gorgeous. I remember the bandana being a fashion accessory when I was a teenager. I have one on as a headband in one of my school photos!

Hmm it appears like your site ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for novice blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.
