Whoever said that overalls weren’t for pear shapes is a liar! I know that dungarees aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but if you’ve been lusting over them they’re definitely worth a try. When choosing overalls stick to a classic cut without any distressing because they will be the most versatile. For pear shapes try to find overalls that hit above the widest part of your waist and stick to darker shades for a slimming effect.
Though this is a more casual look, I chose a pair of overalls in black because they can be worn to work and for a night out. To make this look 9-5 appropriate simply add a well fitted blazer and swap the converse out for some sleek flats or classic pumps. If you’re looking to make this outfit for a night out, pair your overalls with either a sheer button up, leaving the top few buttons undone, or a crop top and some statement heels for a chic night out look. The important thing to keep in mind is that you want each look to feel unique to you, so if you don’t like how you look in something then don’t wear it! Make sure you leave your house looking great and feeling confident.
