As a long time reader you know cropped outerwear is nothing new here. I’ve been rocking cropped jackets pretty much since they first arrived on the scene. When you find one that lands at just the right spot, it highlights your hips in a way that’s just pure perfection. So it should be no surprise that when the cropped blazer made an appearance late last year I instantly fell in love! What You Need to Know to Pull of a Cropped Blazer Outfit
Since a crop blazer can actually be worn to pretty much anything, your biggest hurdle will be your comfort zone. If cropped outwear is something new for you then you’ll need to take baby steps to build your confidence. Here’s a step by step of how to build the perfect beginner outfit:
- Start with a pair of bottoms you feel incredible in. For me it’s been these wide leg jeans that make my butt look incredible despite the fact that they’re made from 100% cotton!
- Then pick a neutral colored top. If you’re not feeling like showing skin a tank top or tee is perfect here.
- Layer with your blazer. Make sure you pick a blazer that stops in the right place so that it really accentuates your body.
- Add accessories. For summer I’m living in either tennis shoes or heeled sandels depending on what I plan to do that day.
