Growing up in the small town of Wausau, WI our shopping options were very limited, think JCPenney, Kohl’s and Target and no, sadly I’m not exaggerating. So when I discovered Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, H&M and the like in college I thought I couldn’t find any place better to shop for my closet, oh how naive I was. During my fourth of July vacation my mother and I ventured into Armani Exchange for the first time in our lives and let me tell you, we did NOT know what we were missing! My mother found a killer blouse while I scored this awesome white blazer and chevron patterned skinnies. Rocking an Armani Exchange blazer can be daunting, especially for a bargain shopper like myself, because after how much I paid I was constantly thinking:
- What am I gunna do if I get it dirty?C
- Can someone tell me what the heck is with this fabric?
- How in the world do I wash this thing without ruining it?
At the end of the day we have to remember that even if we did pay a lot of money for an item, it’s a piece of clothing and clothes are meant to be worn but not to keep us from living in the moment.
